There is someone that has always served us as a group almost since the beginning of Fonzie. Since I don't think most of you really take notice of this it seems fitting that on his 25th birthday we take some time to congratulate and remember what he's given us the past few years.
From the moment Fonzie went online (with the Fonzie Forum) there is one place where we can go for our daily news/blogs/forum/fun: helena.mired.nl (previously matthijs.tux.nu). For years now we've had almost limitless bandwidth and alot of disk space to our disposal. We've run a forum, a website, hosted multiple large movies and other files, ran a Ventrilo server, a shoutcast broadcasting server and even a HLDS Counter-Strike server for a few months. Even though all this has caused two major break ins in his server over the years, we've never had any real complaints and it's all been for free.
Happy Birthday Matthijs, and thank you for giving us this space all these years! |

So Sjeek how are you doing?
I am doing fine, it is now, 10.30 and last night I had a party at w32.Gravity`s house
So I was sleeping at 03:00 or something. I like to do this interview but it is a bit difficult because I cant hardly write in Dutch.
Tonight is the big party at w32.Furiousss, yeah my little brother is growing big.
And next week it is time for the w32.Snurkje party!!!!
So you can say I have a really hard life with all the parties :P
How did you come up with the name Sjeek?
Well it is a secret story, if you are a fonzie insider I can tell you if you guys aren’t a fonzie insider yes. You have to donate €15 euro on my bank account 368135136. j/k

When I started to war with counter-strike I realized I had a real nick.
So first I played under <|SAF|> Simulated. I changed that nick into Kryptonite (Krypto)
That was in the =[T2D]= time ( the l33t guys like sur5or, Fried, gare etc will still remember our ownage on cs_mice on the uithof server)
After a while I wanted a new nick, krypto was already a used nick in almost every clan.
My real name is kees so they called me keesie or kaas or that kind of names.
Furious came up with the idea with sjeekie because it was almost the opposite of keesie.
What do you think of fonzie?
I really like the clan, I like the guys and I respect them.
Sometimes I miss the times on ventrilo.
I am looking forward to see the fonzie guys in real life.
Most fonzie members call you a clanhopper, why?
Ow, I like it when they call me clanhopper, it is a bit of a joke.
But I had a time with counter-strike I walked from clan to clan.
But Breezer_naisie is clanhopper number 1 so start to flame him.

You have a relationship with patries, how long and tell us how you met
I met her on school, almost 5 years ago.
We liked each other for a while after a year we kissed on a school party.
We have a relationship for almost 3 years now .
27 March it is the big day, patries and me are making plans.
We are going to a Hotel or something..
If you had to choose between a night with Patries or with the w32 dudes, you will pick?
A night with the w32 dudes !!! me and patries are sleeping together each week so if the w32 guys are organizing a “lumber party” I will be there.
What do you do besides gaming?
Doing school atm, I work I watch a lot of movies ( 2 a day )
I spend time with patries. And time with the w32 guys
I love to sport, I am doing exercise at home.
And I love to party.

Right ;),Lets see... work: I clean a skool, the company I work for is called
"Mammoet Schoonmaakbedrijf" I work for them since +- 1,5 year ago.
I go to a school called "Mon3aan Techniek", its currently settled in Delft and
Its going back to Den Haag in 2k6. I learning to be an executor its quite
fun, I have a cool klas and a relax Mentor. Only some teachers are F*cking
innoing...
In my spare time, in the midweek, I usually wank off.... no wait thats wat
you want to hear... I usually sit behind my computer or something like that
and then go to bed..( this period, cuzz I have "BPV (stage)") and in the
weekend I do sports and drink beer,watch movies, go to peoplz and stuff. When
I go out I usually go to "het winkeltje/ de stelling" its ok over there..
they play good music and they have "Hertog Jan" :D.
Was that all.. euhmm no, +- Once a month I go to a LAN party in delft called
[Lanzone its a LAN for +- 45 peepz and its always
"fun".
This is a weird question, but if you are in a hotel with al the w32
friends and the hotel is on fire. You can only save one friend, who would
you save?
pff I'd save every1 I wouldn't leave someone behind...

I usually see them during the weekend cuzz most of us have a very buissy

- Fonzie Lan 11 is over? Keep in mind that some people (uch uch) didn't use the flash, meaning high shutter times we're used resulting in alot of movement on these photos. I've removed the worst, but I left the most in since I can't deleting every one of them. You can find the photos here.
- Heero has had an *extremely* great weekend?
- He also has a new member picca
- Guere had a somewhat less fun week(end)?
- Octavius has made an important announcement in his recent blog?

Fonziebells, Fonziebells, Fonzie all the way!
- There will be a Fonzie Lan the first week of January (2, 3 & 4). Details are still being worked out, as soon as we have some we'll let you know. Most likely only the small lan core (Ivan, Alex, Michiel, Machil, Ruud) will attend since it's at Ivan's place.
- Click here for my latest (actually second) Fonzie Photo Movie. Note: pay attention to the lyrics while watching.
- Follow the Fonzie Story as it develops our forum.
- I'm happy to inform you the Fonzie HLTV system will soon work again. We will provide the AddictiveGaming server with spectate and demo recording capabilities. Besides that both parties will enjoy this system (a couple of fonzie members still play a war now and then), Ivan and I are happy to get this system working again. It's a pretty cool system: each night all HLTV demos get automatically zipped and uploaded. Then, the site removes older demos, places the new ones and lists them correctly. UPDATE: The system is up again. Hopefully the first demos will be automatically uploaded tonight.
